This young athlete maintains considerable online audience
The young golfer will have numerous high-profile backers when she makes her professional golf debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses numerous international courses and regularly plays against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we play tight competitions," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."
"My grandpa essentially suggested to play and have fun," she continued.
"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with world affairs, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, Kai has competed in only three events this year and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
But she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, who is dating Vanessa.
"He represents the best player worldwide," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's a more impressive human being. He told me to play, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against multiple most prominent players in professional golf at the Annika, featuring world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Officials stated that Kai's presence brings the sport to new audiences, especially among youth audiences.
The social media influencer has a massive following and just introduced a personal apparel and wellness label.
The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
